Adult psychotherapy for a family, a husband, or a wife

Psychologist Dr. Lisa Cheyette, offers counseling and advice to adults and couples

While working with Dr. Cheyette, many adults find that the source of their
feelings stems either from a major change in their life or difficulties in their interactions with a person or a group.

These two sources of conflict and turmoil can be described as:

Transitions: coping with unavoidable life issues. These include divorce,
"empty nesting", retirement, serious illness, death of a loved one, job changes/promotions, re-marriage, and selling a business.

Relationships: successfully interacting with others. In our complex society,
we are dependent upon and even rewarded based upon our interactions with others including marital, workplace, socializing, and "play".

Often problems in one area reappear as problems in other areas of life. By finding, understanding, and resolving these underlying conflicts, Dr. Cheyette has helped all types of people discover a new meaning and purpose to their lives.

"The biggest problem many adults have is recognizing they have a problem … and that they can find a solution to their problem. I can show adults the possibility of living a happier, more fulfilling life, and then help them explore what that means and chart the best ways to get there." - Dr. Lisa Cheyette
